This is about to get heated soon lol, but i know for a fact from the old vhs tapes that my high school band director showed us: GSU and SU was playing "The Show" in 1985 which was the same year the song came out. Both played it on the field and in the stands. Now i didn't say JSU wasn't playing it, they probably played it also. It probably was the hottest rap song at that time.
I just listened to that Super Hero in Training clip LMAO Sounds like Party Don't Stop to me lol. What the hell is a super hero in training? LMAO

now finally the old school can speak...lol....we (SU)..played it first in 85,,,we did a dance routine off of it,,then gram,,then jsu took it and ran with it
Dejuan, it was a pop tune way back then.....all bands played it...only thing is that we took the song and made it our staple...while other bands put it on the backburner.....
but it amazes me how yall version changes every year and it gets closer & closer to our arrangement.....what next? yall gonna add a mini dance routine to it? it'll be a carbon copy after that....but with a sad drum part attached it to
but truthfully, it loses its effect by the year....its expected from yall now.....and it was shocking not to see a Get Ready skit after what....5 years straight??
