I loved every moment of this interview and it made me love Jordan even more. She is so tenacious and gracious. You could tell there were a lot of things that she wanted to say, but she definitely said what was needed. Ms. Akai, Ms. Akai, Msssss. Akai! SMH!! She has brought a very nasty spirit to the Dolls. At the end of the day, these students should have creative freedom. It's not her nor the admins' team, it's theirs! I like how she said there were things she would've changed behind the scenes; that is what leadership is all about. I respect her so much. I remember Kayla Pittman mentioning the same. That she and Dani L. fought to get things changed. I assume with Akai on board, things took a plummet for the worse. The girls seemed off all season and I could tell Mika was holding back. And I thought D'Tara was bad. BRING BACK DT... PLEASE!!!
Just because one person possibly doesn’t mesh with admin, does not mean that’s the same for each one of the girls. Just like some didn’t vibe with DT. Gabby said she is really close to Akai. It’s ok not be. I think the major difference was advisor being there like day before or on game day vs there everyday. Probably having something to say. We didn’t hear a leak of drama out that room though. Honestly, ppl will find something wrong with whoever is the coordinator for whatever reason. Akai do things for them that we don’t see. I knew after watching that interview it might start or finish a narrative. Happy Jordan was able finish out her journey as a doll.
I'm speaking from personal experience of being at the games and witnessing her nastiness and what we've seen on camera. It doesn't take all that. Dolls have always seemed to have solid leadership and the girls seem to be trained to be respectful when speaking about Dolls in interviews and carrying themselves with class. I also know how frustrating it is when you don't have creative control. Not taking anything away from Akai, but I think she should tone it down some.

I'm glad she cleared some things up and got a little bit of closure that she may have needed for herself. I am also glad Gabby got to voice her opinion on things as well. This is not the end of the road for either ladies dance wise just the beginning.

DT seemed like she fave them room to breathe and be creative. A hands on but hands off approach.
Whatever Akai is doing, it's working for fieldshows and at this point that's all I can ask for.
