SU sounded pretty good. didn't expect anything less. However, their upper brass wasn't really coming across the field like I thought they would. BTones killed all songs ALL night.
I really liked the halftime Doll dedication. Other than that, the show didn't really spark me as WOW.

Big ups to the Tubas for going at em all night.......Big ups to our percussion section for calling up cadence after cadence against SU........Big ups to me and my trombone brethren for stepping up to the plate against them baws lol. Wish SU's trombones woulda battled us back....
Looking at clips from the 5th it was ACTUALLY a pretty nice battle, song selection wise (of course a 85 piece band isn't gonna sound off anywhere as near as a 250 piece). We (FVSU) came in and didn't back down at all.
At the end of the day, BMMB got Baton Rouge's and SU's respect. Hope to see yall again before I graduate.
