1. GRAMBLING is not 4-1 in the SWAC. With the 7 game mandate not every SWAC game counts. FOR EXAMPLE, Grambling vs Jackson State game did not count in the SWAC race. If it did, Jackson State would be 2-3 in the SWAC and not 2-2.
2. In Valley's case you are right, They do have a lone victory over ASU which is an East team so that counts. But it really doesn't matter because at 1-4 they don't have a shot at B-ham.
