SWAC Football discussion

Yesterday, JSU football team looked really good....


"Wonder Bread" has a really good arm and can read a defense.....whoever #88 is needs to learn how to catch a ball....

Defense looked good but isn't up to par with last year....at times, DSU was gaining yards at will....we gotta fix that....

    PB was holding it down against UTEP Last night we came out the gates swinging...especially offense ,at the end of the 1st half it was 10 -14...2nd half starting QB cramped up real bad and didn't return so it was over after that...defense held it down the game didn't get too out of hand our LB core is young..oveall PB seemed to come strong especially with the new spread offense..which means they are finally going to pass the ball..which they did well till the QB got hurt..this season looks promising

    these next two games are the season-breakers though.....

    Gram is just a mental thing....but TnSU is the real game.....i can count at least 4 times in the past 7 games where JSU could've came out the victor but would lose either in OT or let TnSU score in the last few seconds of the games.....

    since we won yesterday, Memphis will be PACKED with JSU fans anxious to see Eminem in action.....

    Su on ESPN right now and they're not looking too hot at all. They're making stupid mistakes like missed tackles
    and DSU is sorry. smh I hope they bounce back in the 4th qtr and win.

    yea dude.....but he is a player.....

    there were times the Oline collapsed but he maneuvered out a sack and completed a pass....if it was Rutland, he would've just protected the football and fall down.....

    the thing that's different this year for the SHC is the fact we KNOW who are starting QB is....the last 3 years, we always shuffled between two QBs to see who will be starting for the SWAC season.....every 2 drives, there was another QB in place and the offense could never get into rhythm with each other.....

    lol we will see..good luck to yall football wise[yall almost be about to sqeak out the W till something dumb happens]..football wise I gotta go for the family/home team ya know...I'll be there though

    mayne...you not lying!!! have the game won and something dumb happens on JSU's side and we lose!!! mayne, JSU fans would be mad as heyal....smh, i don't wanna re-live those days

    i think ya'll spoke a little too soon. Our defense just needed to make a few adjustments. They were playing too aggressive, and Del. St. capitilized off of that with those screen plays. All of their points were because of our missed tackles.

    It is great to know that our backup QB can come in and still lead us to victory. We have 2 great RBs(1 was a surprise), and our offense is going to be scary good. If the defense can fix those tackling problems, we will be a player in the SWAC. We scored 21 points in 6 minutes, and could have scored 2 more TDs if not for dropped passes.
