Wow. No post game comments or clips from this matchup. Must've been sorry, i read comments on the clarion-ledger from some jsu fans about the boom not playing. Where y'all at?

Both bands sound damn good. Due to TSU winning the game, they played hella songs from halftime on out. Both halftime shows were on point. Not a dull moment. Boom didn't play alot of songs during the game, but when they did, they smacked you in the face with power. Boom trumpets sound a lil thin, but baritones and bones on some mo ish. The only concerns is I don't think the new director has that kill mentality like the previous directors..you know-for example, no sideline blowdown after the show, didnt blow at TSU when they marched off the field last, didnt play alot during the game. But I will say their marching, togetherness, and cleanliness is the best Ive ever seen in years...
Da Boom is definitely polished, they sound good and were on point at halftime ( I haven't seem them drill that well in years). I was impressed by them overall! TSU seemed like they had something to prove and wanted to make a statement seriously and they were successful. They were in attack mode from the third on to the fifth quarter. They were ready and waiting on the battle. JSU is a problem and that battle will only make them more battle ready now, but TSU took it overall imo! I hope the clips y'all will see will do justice to what I saw live being at the game.
