They're partnered up with the Houston Dynamo. It's supposed to replace those abandoned buildings across the freeway from Minute Maid Park. I think I read something about it holding 30,000 people. If TSU keeps winning, they just might fill the place up...
You must have missed this past Fall altogether lol. Nah, we're on the move in the right direction. Pardon our progress, but best believe alot is in the making for TSU!

Now where is that stadium going to go? And have you seen TSU crowds?
Texas Southern's Durley stadium IS on campus and was being used sporadically. Robertson mightve been stopped due to cost to rent it and scheduling between TSU and UofH. And our game attendance has risen and probably will continue to. I though this stadium was actually going to be closer to Elgin though. Sharing it with the Dynamo is good in terms of maintenance and venue. A good call so far. However, I feel that either Durley should be built UP and the student lot nearest turned into a large high rise parking or move Texas Southern out of 3rd ward and build a larger more cohesive campus. But good for the alma mater.
Do we deserve a new stadium? Why don't we? Does Prairie View deserve a new stadium? Why would they more than our institution? See here's what I don't understand. People will lament one thing about an institution. And when steps are made to improve and move forward(like in football), all of a sudden it's not *thumbs up, it's "why this and tht".....smh
i know it must be hard for tsu to build in a city like h town. For Bama State to expand across hall street they had to displace an entire neighborhood of people that were there my freshman year. Sometimes having your school in east bumblefugg is an advantage over land locked institutions.
