I know of bands that are bigger than Madison that don't have that power. Other small bands should pay attention.When every one knows their part and have confidence in their ability to play you don't need 100 pieces. Props to Austin's baritone and trumpet section and drumline and the entire Madison band. Notice in the TV coverage it was all about willowridge and the corpstyle bands. MLK and Rodeo are next. With all of these band doing like they are now it should be pretty nice
my opinion....it was a good battle...willowridge brought it and madhouse brought it.....u culd tell tho that both bands are tired of battlin each other....we need sum fresh meat..the battle had me tired fa the parade
Madhouse really surprised me. You guys came through and shut it down. I give you guys mad props. Keep it up. Its been a long time coming since Madison has been a force to reckon with.
madison had nice power. However when it comes to the better sound, discipline, and musical ability I would give it to the ridge. What I do like about willowridge is that they don't let OVERBLOWING kill the melody of a song like most bands. But Madison sounds good to be that size but I mean you got the two top band directors in the business at both schools. Good job to both.
