The new SWAC RULES

I heard about the new rules and believe it or not there is a good part in it.

 

Yea i know it limits the amount of music being played,song selections,volume and it really but bands in a bad situation. I guess that is one of the reasons why bands don't really have "real" songs in there books anymore, and if your band is only good in the stands then you are SOL.

 

But on the contrary these new rules should help bands do the things that we are orginally suppose to do and that is entertain people with our field shows.As the referees and swac officials starts to enforce the rule more i think it will be very interesting to see what our HBCU'S will do on the field to entertain people more and make up for the reduction of playing in the stands.

    You do know they have limits on the field show as well

    NEW limits? i know i saw the Scoreboard counting during Deschaun's video...

    they do that with HS's in Louisiana now ..

    yup it started counting down from 30:00 i was like wdf..when it got to 00:00 they ended the 5th

    Well if the bands moved quicker in the 5th you could squeeze 6 to 7 in but if peeps take their time i see why they say 5 and out. You shouldn't have to play 20 songs to get your point across. Field shows have fallen off so it may help bands put more focus on the field.
