    The PV game is in Shreveport. They are marketing the game on the radio as we speak. PV is the home team. Athletic Departments makes those mistakes. We(Grambling) have the UAPB in Little Rock  on the schedule but on UAPB's schedule, who is the home team this year, they have the game being played in Pine Bluff on campus which is correct.

    "During the 2011 season, the Prairie View Panthers will face Jackson State on October 29th in the Shreveport Classic.  Both games will take place during the annual State Fair of Louisiana, on the grounds of Shreveport’s Independence Stadium."

    That should be a nice game, they are already publicizing it. Seems like PV and JSU's rivalry is building. Shreveport gonna make some money this year. Grambling vs Alcorn(The Port City Classic) is the first game during Labor Day weekend and then PV vs JSU{The Shreveport Classic}, and the Independence Bowl. All big games.

    For future consideration, how would SU fare if they hosted JSU during the annual State Fair of Louisiana in Shreveport instead of Mumford?

    They game would draw but i don't think SU would want to give up that home game anymore and i know JSU doesn't want to give it up lol

    Jackson State University's football team will be banned from postseason play this fall and the athletic department's membership in the National Collegiate Athletic Association is likely to be restricted by 2012 if the NCAA does not grant the school's waiver request.

    The team's Academic Progress Rate, a rolling, four-year figure that calculates academic performance, has fallen below a critical benchmark for the third straight year, according to documents obtained recently by The Clarion-Ledger through a public records request.
