This is already the most Tragic Case with Rob Champion's death

...but now they're taking out High School bands because of their connection to FAMU.. That makes no sense..

, We must protect our craft and do right by what we love as a whole... otherwise we fail... and to this degree, we have failed us.

Marching bands suspended in DeKalb over FAMU ties

The alleged hazing in Florida A&M University's band has led to the suspension of all marching band activities in DeKalb County high schools.

school system officials announced Wednesday afternoon that they are suspending all marching band activities pending an investigation of "possible inappropriate activities" among band members, alumni advisors, band directors and others.

I say smart move because ATL does have strong FAMU connections. Most of the directors are from FAMU, i'm looking at it from a band director's perspective. Doesn't mean things are being done in those programs but i'm sure they only did that to wake up people and put it on the band directors and students minds that Hazing won't be tolerated.

you're right about that. I guess they looked at the Past of one of the Suspects, saying that his hazing began in High school. But honestly I had doubts that they even did that kind of thing at SWD.. yet, there's the Pay the Price movie too.. so They've got Visual example of what these bands are like ALL KINDS of ways

Just think the holidays are upon us and more than likely Atlanta will lift the band on their high schools about time the students come back.

the fucked up part about this is that 1.this happened the day after MOST OF DEKALBS DIRECTORS left for Chicago for the Midwest Band and Orchestra Clinic. so they still in chicago while the students and band parents have to fight this. 2., they brought this shit up almost TWO YEARS after most hazing had stopped in Dekalb. 3rd, they are all basing this off of "possible" hazing and they interviewed non-band members about it. they interviewed one kid who quit after a day because he saw folks doin push ups -_______________________________-

smh.. Bruh... i had 90+ CB's in High School and many quit because we worked out so much..

but to quit because he SAW people doing pushups the first day.........and to be one of the ONLY people interviewed by the news? B fuckin S. AND dekalb officials said they are being "intentionally vague" in order for people to tip them off as to any stories. AND, since there are none in the last past two years, the suspension will remain because no one will say anything because there is nothing to say. SMH dekalb officials are ruining the only good part of the county, other than Tucker football and Miller Grove basketball LOL
