THIS THREAD IS FOR TX BANDS ONLY IN THE AREA OF BEAUMONT ; PORT ARTHUR ; ORANGE ; HOUSTON ! !

Some memebers of the Washington Marion Marching Band along with other ppl from other Bands in your area , are trying to put together an ALL-STAR BAND with the Schools ... We have brought it up to our Band DIrector and she is all for it ; NOW its up to you guys to get your BAND DIRECTOR on board ! Hit ME BACK ASAP ; with any info !

    OKAY I DONT GET IT.. YOU WANT TO KNOW HOW TO GET AN ALL STAR BAND UP AND RUNNING IN DA BOOT..... OR YOU WOULd LIKE BEAMOUNT TO PUT TOGETHER ONE?????.. HONESTLY IM LOST KAT???.....LOL

    we just want to get a all star band together because everyone seem to think that we are to aorry to be in thier all star band ; so we say we will try to get together with the tx bands thats closer to us and star an all star band nd show ppl like LLI nd SOD they we anit gonna sit around nd let them hold the spot light !

    If this actually happens,it would b interesting...but it takes alot to put together an allstar band. Traveling,scheduling,and most of all money.I hope yall vision of having an allstar band comes true. Good Luck.God Bless

    Money is a big issue in doing this....but I think Bmt Central, Bmt Ozen, PA and West Orange Stark

     

    West Orange Stark High School is on the way to becoming the 4th or 5th  3A(AAA) Show band. We have played them during their transition and Im tellin you, they pack a nice strong balenced sound! I just personally think an all star band for that area would be good for those schools!

    But still dont understand the point of ONE louisiana band to join with probably at least 15 texas bands to make an all star band when Houston has established an all star band/alumni band already.

    Yeah i understand what you are saying , but its not a state thing ... it wont be a TEXAS allstar nor will it be a LOUISIANA allstar ... its just an ALLSTAR band ... that consist of members of anyband .... i just said those following schools because ever other school in Louisiana is in an Allstar band but us ... and maybe a couple others ... but it was just a suggestion that i thought i would get opinions on ...
