We live in an age where most information known to man is crammed all in this little tube or screen that you are looking into right now. That being said, if you want to find out specific information and it really has no business being on the forums, use the sense God gave you to at least try to look it up for yourself first, or private message someone who might know the answers to your question. This not only applies to band, but all assets of life.Question such as:1.)"Who has a better field show?"2.)"What kind of techniques work best for lip building?"3.)"What type of mouthpiece is the best?"are all acceptable questions as they require a large audience of people. However, questions such as:1.)"hOw du eYe git In JSU bAnd?"2.)"Wat tYpe moUthp!ce du SU usE?"3.)"Wat Du ASU tpets Du 2 skream leik th@t?"Are all unacceptable, as research or asking a proper member of that organization is key to that question being answered.
You need to be a member of bandhead.org to add comments!
Discourageing people from creating a topic about something they don’t know about is the wrong direction. Many questions deserve many answers. Forums are a way a person can get many different options instead of getting an answer from one person. That way they can choose what fits them best. Someone from SU will have a different answer about music then someone from ummm... UL
Also opens the door for others viewing the forum to correct incorrect advice a person may respond with.
So I say… POST AWAY!
A question on the forums, one of the many options one has.
.)"hOw du eYe git In JSU bAnd?"
2.)"Wat tYpe moUthp!ce du SU usE?"
3.)"Wat Du ASU tpets Du 2 skream leik th@t?"
Well, next time someone comes in and makes topics like the ones listed above make sure you come in here and provide answers.......

To all high school (and maybe even a few college) students

LOL just talking about it in threads like this one ain't gonna stop nobody from making those silly threads. Freedom of speech is something else...but the right to remain silent is something that shouldn't be taken lightly.
Basically, what I'm saying is that we don't make the situation any better by responding to silly threads like the ones mentioned. If you want to discourage folks from making silly threads, then STOP RESPONDING IN THEM. It's that simple.
