When I was in High School Here's what the majority of band members did...
Most games were on a friday so the schedule would look like this for a student.
1. Pep Rally usually takes the place of 4th block. So everyone went strait to the band room right after lunch at 1:00 or even during lunch.
2. School let out at 2:30. Some people hang around in the bandroom. Some go catch something to eat.
3. Usually have to be back at about 4:30.
4.Go to the band field at about 6 and go over the field show briefly then go back in.
5. Go over our bookto make sure everything is right.
6. For home game, usually go over the Star Spangled Banner a few times.
7.Get uniforms on and check.
8. March out to the stadium.
9. After game, we march to the Concession stand to play a song for the booster club.
10. Go home.
Say the home game starts at about 7
Get to the band hall by about 430-500...
Get uniforms, spats, gloves, etc.
chill
at about 530-600
warm up your horns
quick sectionals
run the field show music
maybe a song or two
630
lined up to march to the field
Go to the game....
No pregame (I wish the other bands would come early)
play, halftime, 5th(with or w/o opposing band)
leave.
Away games were up in the air, sometimes we'd get there an hour before, some not till halftime lol
