WE NOW HAVE A NEW SEASON...ALL-STAR BAND SEASON!!!

well stuff is in the works to piggyback off of the GHASB BOTB and The Memphis BOTB and the Houston vs. New Orleans BOTB to make this an annual event to take place every second sunday in july which is perfect because it's right after the 4th, and in between band camps...

the event location will most likely be New Orleans but the facilities will be better with MONTHS of proper planning...

it could happen people we need to support each band and city as this could turn into something as big as the Honda BOTB for real...

    Where are they going to stay? Hotels are booked up around that time

    New Orleans? Why New Orleans? Must we forget that it does cost money to get places. So...why not a more centralized location that everyone can get to with in ample time without that much money being spent?

    I really don't care where it is but lets be real everyone wants it at home or close to where home is that's a fact...
    2nd sunday in july is just a good date, and the hotels will be empty in New Orleans around that time because thats a traditional dead spot for the convention/festival seasons in New Orleans.
    i would be against having it on the Thursday of essence festival because of the availablity of the hotel space not to mention prices in almost every major city go up and staying an entire weekend would just be unaffordable for most.

    Actually the second saturday in July would be better than the sunday because the travel times you would have a whole day to travel to and from...

    and it doesn't have to be just the N.O. it could be done on a rotating city basis but that would take a high level of coordination and sophistication...

    but i would just love to make this happen, and the planning for the next year has already begun it all starts with a plan...
