  • U 'S'hould move thi'S' to the college forum'S' a'S'ap...
  • To me IMO
    JSU
    PV
    BCU
  • TSU has a nice groove to the arrangements no matter who it is that arranged from student arrangers to gip.. look at some songs such as "Dr. Feel Good" against AAMU [i think is who else played it], "Super High" against UAPB's version, and even Deuces has a nice groove that not another band had with it this year.. there's plenty of others you could go on about.

but I also usually enjoy SU's arrangements but then there are others that aren't too well "performed" I'll say.
and at the end of the day it comes down to who performs it well other than the arrangement at times.
  • It seems to me like SU rushes through their songs
  • exactly.. the performance is different
although I'm sure they would be quick to post some of their slowest ballads to say they do not. lol

What HBCU band always Has the Best Arrangements ?
On Certain songs that most bands always play...there is always that one band that has a better arrangement of it....who is that band
  • "ALWAYS?"

I don't think there is one band out there that ALWAYS has the best arrangements. Favorite arrangements are an issue of preference. To say that one band ALWAYS has the best arrangements is inaccurate and misleading.
  • I will have to say Bethune-Cookman and SU
  • SU,TxSu,and Grambling.
  • How about "Which HBCU Band Director Has the Best Arrangments"

Because I bet somewhere out there that there's a band that
probably got or copied their music from another college band.
    Maybe even a high school.
  • norfolk, txsu, aamu, su
