  • I use the D and G syllables cause they are smoother and quicker (as most credible books will verify)

     

    The thing i tell anyone about multiple tonguing is that you have to isolate the back syllable (K or G) to get it close to the same strength and speed as the front syllable, similar to a percussionist working on his weaker hand so that the listener cant distinguish the two. 

     

    Simple drill......play your scales with back syllables only. There is NO quick way to get the results you desire. this will take weeks to get to a level that one would consider even "proficient".
