Block Band is currently in a conference call with Marques Graham - director and arranger for Edward Waters College.
He's training us on the use of endings and making percussion work in an arrangement.
Block Band arrangers regularly receive training sessions from the greats in arranging.
So far this year, our arrangers have received training sessions from:
* Thomas Jones Jr. - head arranger for NC A&T
* James Poitier - head arranger for Bethune-Cookman
* and now - Marques Graham - director and head arranger for Edward Waters.
We are always working to be the best.
