Transitioning from marching band to concert band can be an interesting one for a band director trying to educate their students on all forms of musical performance. BLOCK BAND is doing our part to provide exciting concert band pieces for bands across the country.
Engagement and participation in concert and symphonic bands is important to give students a well-rounded musical education. There is no reason why students shouldn't be as pumped about concert season as they are for marching season. It is important we try new and innovative ways to engage students and the audience. Non-traditional pieces can create new interest by highlighting music from movies and Billboard hits, past and present, transformed into concert band pieces.
We are growing our catalog so that band directors can grow their repertoire for the good of their program.
