In order to "sell yourself" to the particular organization of choice, your resume must be on point. The same applies for bands. When/If there is a chance for a marching band to participate in a event (i.e. basketball game) the resume should be together. What is YOUR band's resume?

He is credited with revolutionizing marching band techniques and reshaping the world's concept of the collegiate marching band. Now you know many bands can't say nothing concerning this topic. I can name 4 bands that actually have broad resume's. GSU, SU, FAMU & TNSU. I would post ours but it's easy to find the info on the net.
JSU has one as well. I'm sure other bands have a resume. A perfect example is BCU and TxSU.

The only band out of that bunch you mention above that has a decent resume is Cookman. Only major thing i can remember JSU doing is The 1990 Motown Performance, a Saints Game & The Senior Bowl. TXSU, did a Superbowl, they been to Japan before but the negative overshadows that trip. I keep up with band history lol.
I see! LOL. I know some information about different schools but always wondered what else have other bands done. Even though TxSU trip was negative, it's still on their resume. And the resume begins from first employment. i.e GSU first superbowl. I honestly believe that other schools (beside the Standard 4) have made significant accomplishments on the local and regional level. It all boils down to exposure.

Lol. you got that right. NOBODY's resume can compete with FAMU. The others you mentioned have extensive resumes as well, but FAMU has pretty much been in the spotlight for more than half of a century.
