"I" think if it were a judge BOTBs then an out of town band would have won. And an out of town band would have won the last 3 years. So the noise makah juding is a advantage for Baton Rouge bands.

The judging was a bit unfair and heres my opinion.
When the crowd made noise for Scotlandville, it druggggg on. The only way to be fair is to have the crowd make noise and whatever level the sound receiver has after, lets say 3 seconds. Let that be the score.
What I saw was the crowd yelling longer and the little bar went up because of the way sound travels :)
Because its not fair if ppl scream for 2 seconds and thats the score vs another band getting screams for 10 seconds. I hope that makes sense.
So there should be a cut off point for the screams to end. Or just let the screams roll for a set time then take the best of in between the time alloted.
But the juding wasnt fair based on that... Well, I think Scotlandville got props cause they had Akon.

And the "stop the violence" rally was great but wasnt it a bit ironic considering you had ppl saying "might as well sag".... "keep your pistol ready"... "if U get food stamps U ballin"... an hour later??? Maybe its just me but I enjoyed the entire BOTBs from a entertainment perspective.
I think glen oaks would have won if the judging would have been do correctly. Yea scotlandville had good songs. But it's a crowd thing and we got the crowd the crunkest. The judging suppose to go thru all bands once then go back thru all band again. The judging was so unfair but hey still got two wins under our belts so it's cool cuz we got more comin.
to me no offense baton rouge ppl it sucked everyone played some type of boosie mix and dats what got me mad but i will give scotlandville their porps tho they saved the show and i think wikinson county high should have won:

Now im gonna be honest, istrouma did show up, behrman did ok, plaquemine and mck were garbish, GO was good(with old head speculation, but there's no rule to the band roster), donaldsonville had a good f-horn section, but in the end SCOTLANDVILLE showed up and wrecked shop. so just give credit where credit is due and come harder next year.ya dig!!!
im tired of people always hating on my school we won and yall cant even hate on that... istrouma did good. and the other schools did good. people cant hate because we won 1st place... i bet if any other school won yall would have said something different.. we was the best best band out there we keep the crowd excited... so grow up and get on yall shit. cause yall are so FAKE!!!!!! hating we are the best and will not stop....
