    see what im talking about? even the coveted position of DRUMAJOR has become some bull!!!! No one cares about how a drumajor looks as long as he can direct the band and blow a damn whistle!!!!!!!! band these days has been fell to the powers of INDIVIDUALISM and DRUMAJOR is now a position of POPULARITY and not MUSICIANSHIP and LEADERSHIP! I WAS DRUMAJOR and i could have gave a damn how i looked out there as long as my band marching behind me was on FIRE!!!!

    People from NEW ORLEANS on here who know thier historyand/or marched in the late 90's and 2000's know how much of an insult to the entire band when bands started to decline, and to keep from taking the better musicians off of thier horns, directors started appointing niggs from the COLOR GUARD AS DRUMMAJORS!!!!!!...............


    I WAS LIKE WTF???? WHEN I FIRST SAW THIS TREND START.


    I WISH AFTER I HAD BEEN PLAYING AND STUDYING MUSIC, BEEN IN AWARD WINNING CONCERT AND JAZZ BANDS. AWARD WINNING MARCHING BANDS. WENT TO LMEA AND GOT REAPEATED 1'S WITH MY ENSEMBLE AND BY MYSELF. THAT I LET A MOFO WHO DONT EVEN PLAY A DAMN INSTRUMENT TELL ME GET IN LINE, OR PLAY THIS SONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SHEED THE HELL WITH THAT!

    HALF THE BANDS YOU NAMED ARE BARELY HOLDING A BAND TOGETHER, MUCH LESS SMASHING ANYTHING! SO WHY WOULD WE BE INTERESTED IN WHAT THE DRUMMAJOR(S) LOOK LIKE? GET TO KNOW SOME MUSIC SON AND COME AND ASK SOME QUESTIONS ABOUT THAT,BECAUSE THIS IS SO STUPID OF A QUESTION ITS A SHAME!
