personally i say memorial marchin heat gon wreck tmw dhatz jux my opinion
  • Im guessing Southwood won but they need to be put on blast...
  • I know there were cameras at this event!!!!!! Who's got clips????
  • For the numbers they had, Westbury and Davis really impressed me with their sound. When you eliminate dead weight, you can do wonders. Southwood had a good performance as well, and they were well-disciplined when I saw them up close. Jones and Memorial are showing much growth from the time they've switched directors. Royal continues to have solid shows when I see them.

I don't really like all the drum exhibitions with no horns, but they're necessary for community relations.

I think EVERYBODY (my band included) could stand to march better. If we're going to call it "high stepping", then pick your knees up and get your feet off the ground!!!

Back to the lab...some of my arrangements seem to have grown legs and walked across town...lol...
  • Personally, i was impressed with Westbury, Jeff Davis and Southwood(first time seeing them)

Westbury had one of the strongest sounds and near balence. Excellent Song selection and excellent drilling

Didnt get to see much of JD's show since we were preparing for ours but excellent tone and balence.

Southwood, excellent drill, very unique, love Al Green's Lets Stay Together.

BTW. ya'll came out with some energy!!! Short show though...i was wanting to see more! lol

Jones. Sound and Balence is there but tighten up on the intro of the show.

Memorial- solid drill, no time for a dance routine??

as for my own band...i know we couldhave done better then we did last night but 2 solid months until MLK....see everyone there!
