I was on the KKPsi website and noticed something that's very disturbing.The majority of KKPsi chapters at HBCU'S are inactive.Being a member of KKPsi for 21 years,I was very upset to find that most chapters at HBCU'S are inactive(including ZN @ SU).We as HBCU'S should do everything within our power to restore these chapters,and preserve the integrity of our band programs and musical organizations.KKPsi was founded on the basis of betterment of the marching band,as you all know,HBCU'S are known for their great marching band programs.Therefore,it is paramount that we as alumni and current students push to make our school's band programs once again the great staples they once were,and restore the pride in our HBCU'S.

Jackson State Kappa Kappa Psi was suspended. Then their was up. But not instated. Kappa Kappa Psi National said that the Band Director has the LAST WORD. Then needs to changed when you have these young men that want it!!! Give that power to the University President!!!!!
Kappa Kappa Psi is a Honorary "Band" Fraternity why would the Headquarters give a School President the power when the band director knows about their band more than them. Keep the rules as is.Tommy J90 the reason is stupidity. Some chapter go overboard with things. We have guidelines but some want to change them and that's why they get in trouble. That's why many directors which bands that don't have Psi are so afraid to bring it back because of the new generation.

You are right,a lot of stupid stuff goes on when they pledge these days.That's why the OG's need to be there in some way to ensure the safety and integrity of the new pledgees.The OG's should have an active role in the pledging process to make sure the line goes over smoothly,and things don't get out of hand.
