It was a botb bands in Atlanta and the only bands that where good was from Louisiana!! Why do you allow that to happen to your city? Not one band in Atlanta is considered good anymore not even SWD!!

They are still one of the best in Atlanta but they aren't doing good at all.... No they aren't what they use to be but unlike a lot of other bands SWD still don't have a problem with putting 128 on the field.. NO EXCUSES!!
SWD is possibly the finest show style high school band.
That aside, I believe everyone is attracted to the dominant schools like BCU, FAMU, SU, or JSU.
Also, since Morris Brown had their incident the power house presence in the ATL has declined.
That aside, Albany State is doing wonderful in the SAIC!!!

Sorry buddy, I meant to say Albany is the powerhouse in Georgia. I apologize for being remedial in the last comment. I'm not good at articulating myself through text...

@Freak Nasty too be hones with the kids here have lost there passion and futher more the directors don't really push them too there limits like back in the day as I use too march in a dekalb county band myself its hard too say but, the kids here just dnt care anymore I march for AAASB now its the only thing that makes those kids wanna be in band anymore
