BY: GERARD L. HOWARD The 42nd Annual Bayou Classic brought thousands to the City of New Orleans for the classic rivalry between The Southern University Jaguars and the Grambling State Tigers.
With an attendance of nearly 30,000 for the Battle of the Bands and nearly 60,000 alumni and fans for the game, it's safe to say that this year's classic was a success.
With tunes from Adele to Boys II Men both bands fought fiercely during the Battle of the Bands and at Halftime. Highlights from this years classic are featured below.
