In 1987 we took this trip to Houston to play for the Houston Oilers game. At practice the day befor at TSU we notice the show wasn't coming out right. Mr. Hampton found the problem the day of performance adjusted and we handled ours. Just being professionals.

Wow this was my Junior year.. I remember this.. Houston Oilers played the Indianapolis Colts... At the TCU game the Ocean of Soul came out of the woods playing.. Man we had a great time..

Yea, I was a freshman....."St Louis Blues March" was a beast to learn in the summer for a 13 year old ya heard me.

Definitely one of the best St. Aug band of all times. When I was there, we use to look at 1987 and 1990 band films for motivation, and somthing to strive for. At the end of the day, we upheld the tradition. However, we just didn't have the influx of quality musicians like they had in the 80s and early 90s.

To look at this, you forget that, this is a HIGH SCHOOL band, the formations are tight as ever!
