  I love both bands. Southern more so, simply because my grandma went there. But, I love Jackson State's arrangements.

  if u like yo band to b sloppy, playin notes in crcaks, and lack of musicality then SU is for u my friend. But if u wanna b clean to the point where EVERY NOTE of EVERY PHRASE is understood and learn to play with power the u would love jackson state....both band have there own indentity totally different from one another....im not sayin neither on is the right way it just all depends on the person listenin and their likes and dislikes

  Su B tones so dang powerful what do they be on got be them steroids ....they are the best of this
  season....but the trumpets lost alot of their power this year I been to alot of they games and from the other side they dont have the range that they once had sorry still luv yall doh
