Right now my heart is heavy b/c a person I truly looked up to has passed on. His teachings will be with me forever.

He really did inspire boys to become men. We all have a "Hamp" momment that we'll never forget. I know I have mine. His lessons of discipline and pride always stayed in my heart. Sometimes , usually in a group of alumni , we would sit back and remember the good times at St. Augustine and the effort Mr. Hampton demanded of us. I will miss him.
