  I am guessing he marches in Southern's band, their drummajor doesn't conduct at all so I don't think he would know of anything of that nature....lol

  At Gerbal Lane that is your opinion. I really don't want to call you ignorant but a drummajor mase is what you use to get attention and to call up and down. For a marching band a drummajor uses mase to conduct and direct. Not sure if you are in middle school or H.s. but you should know this.
