Yeah they are seasoning what you here in the woodwinds....but who wants a bowl full of pepprica(sp) seasoning isn't meat....its at least 8oz of steak in this song lol

counter melodies have always made songs......i mean everyone knows the melody but the counter melodies are just like seasoning when used just right they make it that much better....but good job none the less

argh on you Deschaun... elaborate more on why u would use counter melodies in the verses...then it would take away from baritone and f-horn solo dont u think....u never want to much goin on in a ballot (there are other parts being played in the background from our woodwinds... especially if you have outstanding sections that can play certain parts of the songs JUST MY OPINION

Argh he couldve did so much during the 1st and 2nd verses as far as counter melodies..don't sell ya band short..ASU this sounds nice though
