superioroveraqll like i said they held their own, my opinion and not yours. Su is a good band but no where close to a superior band and it all starts at the top being too cocky.
if chris thought GSU did so bad, why don't u transfer to the now embarassed su who by the way would not even show up for the txsu game. Now u are vigorously trying to get a GSU alum as coach, so u do the math.
I attend neither schools...but i am a music major at NSU...and from my observation...SU was too loud and really didnt show much musicianship or musical difficulty (playing whole notes throughout the whole performs, wow! lol) And from the looks of things, SU was the reigning champs because they had plenty of house down there, being that they are only an hour from the DOME! lol but N-E who, GSU...well, all they need is alil more muscle...very impressed compared to last year...GSU has heart...and had a nice jazz piece. Orchesis was really good...Dolls (huh...yea, routines havent really changed) GSU had a better performance during half time than SU...but of course SU magically becomes champs for that boring halftime performance. SU..."END of the ROAD" was a nice selection, just hate i couldnt see the real talent of the band (singers)...they blew out the singers...if SU is just gonna blat and blow tremendous power, dont have members sing, because it was difficult hearing the vocals of the singers...other than that...BAYOU CLASSIC 09" was the best to me!!!!!!
