  @Dr. FunkinStan the reason why are show was kinda the same as are other shows is because we had two Battle Of The Bands so we didn't have a lot of time.

  One thing I must say about my SCSU band is their routine was original. I have not seen our band do those routines none this past season. I am not bragging but, from what I hear the audience was wowed by our preformance. Sound a lot of postings are really whiners to me, I am just observing the comments folks.

  Dr. FunkinStan, just to give you a little history, The Marching 101 has been a MEAC band since the MEAC was created in 1970. SCSU is one of the 7 original members (along with NCAT, DSU, Howard, Morgan State, Maryland Eastern Shore, NCCU, long before BCU and FAMU, who joined in 1979. The Marching 101 of SCSU is who they've always been - The Marching 101 of SCSU. They are not trying to be anyone else. Some of you folks need to get that memo and finally get off of that bandwagon once and for all. The students who make up any band are directed by the band directors, they don't direct themselves.....remember that.

  Dr. FunkinStan, it's obvious you didn't watch the SCSU's drill at Honda 2011. SCSU had the crowd's attention from beginning to end. As everyone has been saying, SCSU's drill was the best of all the bands the as well as their entire show. Of all the bands at Honda, SCSU received a standing ovation from the entire dome. They were the only band to bring a new show to the Honda and the crowd appreciated it. BCU was good, but everything they did, I saw them do earlier in the band season from other clips. JSU was good, but the only new thing they did in their performance was spell out SWAC, everything else I seen them do in other clips of their season. Good jobs to all the bands of Honda 2011, but especially SCSU, you guys wowed the crowd.

  GREAT BAND, BUT NOT BETTER THEN MY 101 OF SCSU. I LOVE ALL HBCU BANDS, BIG OR SMALL.
