Marching Band Videos

These excerpts from the Battle of the Bands held in Lincoln Park, Newark, NJ before the African American Heritage Parade are a tradition going back many years to the first of these annual parades. The high school bands gather, warm up and soon get to showing off in a Battle of the Bands. Our videographer, Alshadirah Ashford, is a beginner at this and so we have only brief excerpts of each band. The bands represented here include Camden High School Marching Band, Willingboro High School Marching Band, Cordoza High School Marching Band, Plainfield High School Marching Band, and of course our own East Orange Unified Marching Band.
