To my Grambling people and I am not saying the 1st song is garbage it sounds good but it is weak and sound kind of dead. It's no type of build up in the song its stays at a medium to soft volume and B-Tones do sound a lil shaky in the song. The song was not full period. But hey that's my opinion

But anyway I hope you and the rest of the band getting your fukking man right for the Classic because you can't come to my home city playing that 1st song like that.
Quality music is a must WF. Listen to the staff, practice and give it your all and you will rise... Don't start all that hanging over shit. The kids today have no fukkin idea about good music with a good sound...
Well....we are getting back to the respectable days of Grambling...not just the ones that attempted distorted volume displays.....leaders are still VERY VERY VERY much here.....are we not leaders because we strive more for musicianship in all categories than blowing the WALLS OFF ON A BALLAD???? I understand you are an alum, but truthfully....our current members would rather sound and look good than just be loud and miss notes all day.
so tone master are you saying they play louder without hendrix saying so? Bands practice for a reason and i just dont think they need to go out their range if they havent practiced it. Im sure by the txsu game and su they will get a tad louder but i kinda disagree on what you saying. True 03 was a loud band but so was 04 05 06 and 08. 07 was a smaller band but decent but them being scared is not the case they playing as practiced and a LEADER OBEYS! As u say REAL LEADER. It seem that gsu is getting better but still cant please come on now. And im sure scholorships can be threatin if that happens. I take gsu sounding gud over loud and nasty.
I feel you RJ but the staff is not playing the instruments they just direct. I understand discipline but damn lets be real. I guess the real band members left in 03 (student leaders that is) they were still some real band member. Like I use to say what are they going to do to us make us run the field or the bleacher. Come on current band member stop being scared.
