"Harlem Shake" for Marching Band/Pep Band - Group Size A/B/C - Marching Band Videos

How to interpret this arrangement.

You may want to have only one person say the spoken part, but it’s up to you. It ok to use the voice from the original recording.

The idea is that you are going through your everyday routine warming up to the Bb scale.

As you get into it, the melody (which is the repeated part) should come in and become the major focus. Continue the Bb scale as written but do not let that dominate the music. The chromatic part adds to the tension of the song as in the original but should be slightly beneath the instruments playing the Bb scale in balance.

It’s not necessary to play the last note, but it will give a way to conclude the song.

Most importantly have fun.
