Skinny, you alright with me... Keep doing a great job at humbling yourself, it only makes you stronger... When I first posted on here, I was attacked not only musically, but PERSONALLY including attacks against my wife. You have to look past all of the BS most people will dish to you. I was off my instrument for 11 years, however I had to prove to myself first that I could do it (I've been back playing a since last year). After that, you understand that people will have only a few options when it comes down to listening to your clips 1. Show love and respect 2. Continue to hate on you while expressing it clearly through their comments on your post or to your inbox 3. Pass your clips and listen to the next clip without expressing their opinion. Keep up the improvement and hopefully we all will enjoy your clips in the future... Lead by setting an good example for others to be guided by!!!
I really thank all of you for the constructive criticism, and the advise you all gave me. I'm really working on becoming a overall good trumpet player, I've been off my horn for longer than I would have liked to, and the playing I have been doing was very 1 dimensional, so I'm like a ole head but at the same time a new comer to the game, and damien The only reason. I made a comment like that was because I looked at you profile and seen how great of a player you where but also looked at the comments you where making on other clips, And i felt that it was a better way to go about critizing people being how well of a player you are, But I hold no aught aginst you bro i'm just pasionate about my craft. The whole reason I chose to put these clips on here is to get advise on a practice approch, to really understand where I need practice at, and to expose my weak points, to humble myself. PLus I want to you all to watch my growth as a strong trumpet player. And Underage Thinker thanks bro Imma give it my all and yes I'm past those g# s lol!! well thats all yall thanks!!! This will only make me better!! By giving me sumin to prove!!
I played with this dude personally. Yeah...he's a lil ansy about his skill but he has plenty of it...indeed, indeed! I do agree though, this video leaves little to the imagination, musically.
