  • Naw, its way harder to push on a King, especially lows, then ESPECIALLY actual pedals. VSU sound good but TnSU be pushing out them real pedals. In fact, anyone that was at the Honda on the field would know cuz us (JSU), TnSU, and VSU was all beside each other in mass band actin a fool and ours and TnSU's pedals were way more fatter and mature. Both sections sound great though
  • From my experience kings had a really open feel. I just recently had the opportunity to play on a Conn 20k and I found myself pushing a lot harder. The horn was really old and could have just had either leaks or something blocking the sound. Thats just my experience with those two brands of horns though. I'm not taking anything away from either section because there is A LOT of talent between Silver Thunder and Horsepower. I just think that in the end Horsepower's soloists would put the icing on the cake for their section. I haven't really seen anything like what Horsepower is doing(soloist wise) from Silver Thunder.
  • idk bro it takes some effort to get the sound u want from a King....
  • There are 2 different cameras being used. These two sections are also using two different brand of horns. From what I've heard kings are easier to push than Conns because of the smaller bore. As far as the lows, I think Horsepower is shootin them as fat as they can push on them 20ks. They sound just as fat to me.
  • They have the power down but they dont have the lows like TNSU Thats what separates them Silver thunder can play low notes and be loud with ease while VSU can only Play loud on High notes and chords...people are not understanding that
