  i been on mellophone for a year in ahalf an i never had anybody to truely so me how to really play it i had to learn by ear so i could reall use your help

  Where exactly did this guy find a mellophone mute? I've been looking for one for some years. I didn't think that they even made those. Actually if anybody knows let me know. Lol.

  yes an educated mello playa but to help yu have more endurance yu shuld use low lip slurs and dude its called an omniture and was dat song yu played survivor

  The high part is the lip slur (No valves). The low part is just to make it longer. You can play it with or without the low part.
  
  There are no set number of lip slurs. You don't have to play them out of a book. You can freestyle and make up your own.

  Very nice actually. The title had me a bit skeptical at first, but it sounds like you know what you are talking about. Sounds good and very sound advice for any brass instrument.

  It would probably be better if you figured them out on your own. You will remember them better if you spend time and learn them on your own.
