off the drills alone,
JR was clean but the drill was simple...
KT was more intricate but the drill was sloppier than JR.
KT was more entertaining than JR and the entire band faced on the power point while you can clearly see JR drummers moving to concert formation while the rest of the band and some of the drummers are facing front.

JR drilled to one song while KT drilled to multiple. even though KT left much to be desired in the sound department, KT wins the drill

dance team....
JR did some acrobatic stuff and had good energy, precision was off a bit on the line flips and transition into the front roll. and the dancers were late on the ending which is a big deal. Poor uniform choice as that color combination made it easy to focus on the band instead of the dance team. The music was good although the F horns stuck out the entirety of this song making the sound unbalanced.

KT
came out with high energy but a simple dance routine, the key here was the uniform which highlighted the hand movements with white gloves and the white boots gave emphasis to all those different levels of kicks they did

the white had me "thinking" that they were going ham until I watched it again. but KT precision trumped all.

KT wins dance team

exit and wildcards and overall

JR had the more precise exit with more uniformed marching than KT except for that one horn player that was wild

KT's Dancers were blocking the band from forming accurately on the viewers left ,you can see that it wasn't designed that way.

JR announcer was good while KT's was mum.

JR's Dance team on the sideline was better than KT's

Overall

JR sounded better than KT that's not debatable, but the drill portion wasn't as good as KT.

I would have given the edge to KT based of the drill and the dance team

but it would have been close really close. maybe like 2 points total.

So we had a clean drill, I prefer clean any day rather than sending my kids on a maze out there!

The band was there on the power point, percussion getting there made no difference because you can clearly hear that the crowd knew what was going on.

I dont see how you can say KT wins the drill when they had lines crooked more than once vs we had 1 line crooked and it wasnt that CROOKED! KT kids were 2 intervals behind at some point.Playing it safe is better than risking it. KT Played multiple songs but they didnt play them good! Trying doesnt count when being judge!
