  • man thats messed up i remember in 2002 my daddy brought me down there for mardi gras thats the first and last time i saw the k or the 4 i fell in love with band that night ....... it will never be the same now.
  • nah they aint rebuildin.... they just got rid of the fo for no reason.. they could have kept the name..
  • tear it down to rebuild??? and what about fortier????
  • @Suave, it's gettin torn down
  • , in all bandheadedness (lol).. Things like that make rivalries what they are. St. Aug was Kennedy's biggest rivalry next to 35 and that rivalry. Those are memories worth mentioning. i hear stories like this all the time from different years and different Points of View.. They talked about other games but I wasn't recording,.but since the was talking and moving around a lot so i had to catch'em on cam...

some other games & events were talked about but I either didn't record or catch the conversation on time..

as for the first reference of St. Aug... they were talking about this video i made.

  • To the brother in the light blue shirt repping he graduated in 90, from the K. Dude you a hater and you fantasize a lot. First of all, K ain't never had 14 bass horns and if for a second ya'll did, what makes you think that made Aug go get more to keep up with ya'll. Bruh, you too loaded to think that Kennedy ever dictated what we did at Aug. Don't get me wrong, The K was a beast, but ya'll know what it is and who it is. Proof of that is the fact that throughout the entire video ya'll ain't talk about nobody but the Aug. All the cold bands to come out the N.O., ya'll only talked about Aug. Damn shame. As for as the dude from Aug that went up to Southern and couldn't read music, you probably right. However, you want the world to believe that every member of Kennedy band could read. You too loaded again. News FLash, potnah, every band got members who can play they a-- off but can't read. You messed up a tribute to a great school (Kennedy) that's gone due to Katrina with that BullSh-t you was stressin Dawg. Get yo facts straight before you come on here blasting that foolishness. Cause we got some Aug-Kennedy battle stories too-that are TRUE! Real Talk! Peace.
  • nice Book.....what are they doing with JFK now?
  • yeah the real days of "The K" those early bands set the foundation..
  • I'm sorry to see "Tha K" go...if there was a Mt. Rushmore of marching bands, "Tha K" would definately be on that mountain. To this day, the songs I liked hearing them play has to be Murphy's Law (my fav), Black and Blue, Say La La, Before I let Go, and Sweet Freedom (circa 85, 86 & 87). They were always in the pocket: crisp, clean and they really didn't overblow. Mr. Harris definately had control of that group.
    Thanks for the memories...SALUTE!!!!
