    I think nobody has ever asked the question, how much has SU been influenced by New Orleans bands in general?

    I think calling "The K" the "Baby SU" is sort of a disservice. Sure they were heavily influenced by SU, but anybody that has had the pleasure of hearing JFK (in the 80's and 90's) in person knows that they had there own swag. They played a lot of SU songs, but they.always incorporated their own touch/flavor to the songs that made them sound unique.
