JSU marched with 10 mellos this game and still had a nice volume...they came out in volume and were heard on their parts of the song...

mellos are getting buried this year. Probably due to the increase in the Baritone section now. They've lost the instrumentation balance that made them sound so unique last year. Now with double the amount of Btones and the same, if not, lessened amount of Tpets and Mellos. Just makes them sound so balanced at a distance. Like how the were in 2006 when the mellos were covered up on the norm and the trumpets had to struggle to be heard because of the 20+ Btones and 40+ TBones.
