Bee Gees had soul but NOT THIS MUCH FUNK AND SOUL LOL !!
this song was OLD when y'all recorded it..released as a SINGLE/45 in sometime in late 1971/1972 by THE NEW BIRTH..
they had such hits as :ITS IMPOSSIBLE,,DREAM MERCHANT,,BEEN SUCH A LONG TIME,,a version of WILDFLOWER,,a version of I CAN UNDERSTAND IT....
most of the songs above have been sampled.
.this was like many of the good, very good and great 1970s groups. great in the studio and great in concert...
ALL THE BDs born before the middle '70s LOVE the music of the 1970s....the soul, blues, funk and even pop and rock and country were driven by vocals and instruments like music was meant to be.
disco was strong at the end of the decade but it couldnt match the great music created from 1970-1979 THAT WASNT DISCO !
this was a popular radio song,a popular bar song,a popular band song...a HIT period
The Bee Gees i though. From the Saturday Night Live soundtrack. I Remember we played Method of Mordern Love and Night Fever too. They need to bring them joints back.
