Laborday Classic - 5th quater - 2010 - Marching Band Videos

Well I was at the game.....I have to give the W to TxSU.....to me, they just sound like a more complete band. No weak sections in that band. PV definitely sounded nice....excellent sound.....but not the clean, crisp, sounding PV that I'm used to.....I've been hearing a lot of PV people talking about "TxSU should have left after Getaway"....Why?? It sounded OK, but (as you can see from the clip) EXTREMELY sloppy. What's the point in playing something technical if it's sloppy? I think that kind of defeats the point of playing it in the first place. Now TxSU wasn't perfect either....EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED in their song selection. Yall have all the pieces to do some damange, but the songs yall chose to play in the 5th and at the battle of the bands.....highly disappointed. Not sure what yall are "saving" for, but LDC would have been the time to show out. I know yall got some hard hitters (I've heard them) but for the life of me, I don't understand why yall wouldn't bring them out for the LDC.

But all in all it was a good battle....Both bands did well.....but like i said, I give the slight (very very slight) edge to TxSU

everybody on the old marching sport admitted PV lost in 05. you're lucky we can't pull up archives from the old ms when even people that marched in the band said TxSU won lol.

Bro TxSU got DROVE sumthin serious in 2005 I taped that game myself from right behind the goal post ON THE FIELD not from the stands.... That year the game was at the end of the year due to Katrina in LA, I'll give yall 2006 and maybe a SLIGHT W in 2007 but 2008 and 2009 it was bout even... Real Talk
