No offense but you can't compare SOD or LLI to NOAASB.
@bandfan06....there is no denial in me and i dont not believe that you are throwing are facts. No bands are what they used to be man. Like seriously. St Aug, Peabody, Half of all of the n.o schools and a few allstar bands arent what they used to be. Look at ghasb and dallas allstar band...we may not be "old leadership sound" yet but we are up there on the high rise of being it or better. If it bothers you that bad that we "sound" this way and lets not forget its basically just you, then hell come do something about it and stop posting trash about us on bandhead. For a person who had respect for the band i dont see why your dogging us now in our second year back. My point is if we sound so bad and is such an epic failure why havent any bands stepped to us yet and try to get in that blender? because i honetly believe that we gonna have to start digging in anybody's ass to start proving a point to people like you. and i mean anybody...high school it doesnt matter...
BigDawg I don't need to explain much. Listen to them..ugh. Forreal, this band doesn't have the character it used to have. Listen to the sound..no control..just blasting. Listen...if you think that sounds like LLI all-stars of the past you are terribly mistaken. Whatever the reason is for yall not going to Six Flags BOTB, one thing WE ALL know...LLI would get bit, chewed on, swallowed, regurgitated and spit out by OP Walker and Baker. Call me a hater but you know what I am saying is factual.The ONLY thing I see improved is yall drilling. The band still sounds crappy. IMO I understand the denial but cmon. LLI= #epicfailure
Sorry my 2cents...But you cannot compare LLI or SOD to NOAASB... Reason being... NOAASB is an ALUMNI All Star Band.... Which consist of grown men and women from the New Orleans area some of which are in or have been in a very good HBCU marching band... #ImJustSayin
Well... Isn't possible to have a HIGH expectation for band. Some people measure things using a 12 in ruler, while others may measure things using a 100 yd football field. "To each their own!!!"
@bandfan06....lol..bruh you are sooo funny. So your saying the band now sounds like a struggling high school compared to what the band was back in the day. NOBODY has said that this year...its like your the odd one out of the bunch who doesnt make sence to nobody BUT YOU. The st petersburg show was first place material just like or if not better than what lli used to do back in the day. Last years band was the start back. And i can understand a few negative comments here and there but now..HELL NO!. Were not perfect but compared to last year and you have to agree that WE HAVE MADE MUCH IMPROVEMENT!...Many have even compared the band now to the band back in 2003, it was FRESH, a very little issue here and there but GOOD. If we dont sound like an allstar band then noaasb and sod doesnt either because we are all about what and what. The pebblebrook botb was a showcase jamboree and we faced tri cities allstar band and was the featured event...and u tryna figure did we run from the viewers choice botb?LOL!...that involved all high schools,in which 3 were already from louisiana, baker, istrouma and walker..... we went to pebblebrook to represent louisiana....SIR
