  • Thanks for the feedback folks.
  • Yall snares look straight. But the tenor sec jus looks weak.. n wat were the cymbals doin.. overall the band needs alot more swagger.. yall r just too plain and DRY.. good luck
  • Work on longtones with the tuba section, don't let them turn into one of those "WE CAN ONLY PLAY OUR HIGH F" sections. Make sure they play their lows louder than their high notes so all of the parts they play in a song will sound balanced. Focus on getting a loud, open lower register and play your high notes with a fatter sound as opposed to playing loud. It will still sound louder, but if you do it right, it would sound like most of these other bands do when they play all fluffy and think they're loud. Also, if you march 90's you will inadverantly use more air during drill because you'll have to breath through your horn. Breath and just exhale through your instrument. That way you're taking advantage of all that hot air.

Long tangent is long. Overall, try and get more air support from the tuba section.
  • know what you can nd can't do, dont't play songs you know your band can't play rite. seriously yall need to lose neck
  • Not my band, but i'll relay the message to the person in this band who asked me to upload this. Thank you.
  • Im sure you have been told this before, but the main issue is overblowing. Play with control. Another personal suggestion, and this is simply my opinion, certain songs are not for every band. Just my opinion. Overall keep pushing, the band will come together as the year moves along...

    Best Wishes.
