  everyone hits a wrong note or two. By the way what do you play? Why is your cousin at Grambling complaining instead of at an "A1 program like S(uck) University". I am not fooling myself I know it happens but they didn't get caught. As far as style SU doubles every thing to augment there sound (loud noise). Gram plays different parts to demonstrate ther musicality. I see that u haven't address the fact that you'll have very corny shows. I will be bigger than you and acknowledge the fact that SU drills(marches) better than anyone in the SWAC but entertaining I think not. I can't wait until the last of Greg's program leaves and then we will see just how good the SU machine is. If it wasn't for Haymer's arrangments which I feel have been keeping SU in the fight where would SU be. Time will tell. That is if they have program next year do to the fact that they beat there bandsmen like runaway slaves.

  You boys are so lame lke what happened with the U isn't happening everywhere. Dance and playing so what. If you think the U is all about playing loud then you must do your research. You probably don't listen to your own music cause you cant believe you are playing songs with wrong notes, no style, and horrible chords. Get real I have a cousin in GSU BAND and even he knows this is true. Your whole program is GARBAGE. I wont waste anymore time with this foolishness. Are you serious? GRAM dog? No one believes that but some of your own.

  Loud noise is still noise. If you want to impress me stop them wack### breakdowns and that tired superseven routine plus the drum major dancing with your dancers and see what people think of you. Try dancing!! The reason that U bring up dancing and playing is because you can't do it. We go to Gram because we are not in fear of being brutalized and beaten. My statement remaines the same just because it's loud don't make it good. The pipes on my Chevy are loud! The car without a muffler is loud but that doesnot make it good music. All that huffing and puffing that you'll do is comical . You'll really think that looks good, everybody who see's you laughs at how ridiculous that looks . Does that help you with tone and projection? or is it just a show? LOUD NOISE!!!!!!!!

  I was feeling you comment until you wanted to take a coward - like shot at the end of your statement. I am a JAG but I have close ties with GRAM member being that I live in a city where Gram fans or dominate. As for as you opinion that GRAM is the best due to on the field performance, I know many who don't believe that themselves. You all go there because its a guarenteed schorlarship. Therefore PRIDE is out of the question. So don't take shots about our hazing incident because that should be the last thing GRAM should be worrying about. How about getting PROFESSIONALS to arrange your music and not amature students who are not proven. How about SHOWMANSHIP and stop dancing half of the field show with those played out footwork dance steps. GRAM fieldshows are wack thats why you all rely on the G_S_U chant for crowd participation. I challenge yall to take that out and it will really show how dead the crowd will be. Be happy about the little fame you all do have because no one in the SWAC or MEAC respects GSU BAND. Its no intimidation at all to face yall and its a cake walk for the U every year. I rest my case I rather argue with the JSU or FAMU folks.

  My comment wasn't made to distinguish who was better than who, it was made because an idiot (The Godfather) made a comment about Gram being a hot mess. I merly pointed out the fact that Southern wasn't selected to go whether or not they submitted an application or not, whether it was because they are dealing with a hazing case or whatever. And U are correct a parade doesn't determine whose best it's the overall performance on the feild and of that counts. Therefore I still credit GSU with acomplishing it's mission without beating up its members.

  A Inauguration parade does not determine who is the best. I will encourage all of my SU family not to say anything negative about Gram. This topic is bigger than who is the best. It was a chance of a lifetime for Gram and their program to experience this. And as far as the negative talk about our program goes, we will bounce back and continue to be dominate in the world of bands. It was a great opportunity for GSU but don't start feeling yourselves to the point yall want to talk down on the U. And thats real.

  i never ever talk comparisons EVER.... so i wont lol. just for the record all of you down-talking us, please endure the conditions we had to endure and then SEE if you could even have the fortitude to produce a DECENT sound. i personally thought we were going to sound 100% AWFUL b/c of how the weather was punishing us BEFORE the parade, both physically and MENTALLY. u march for 1.7 miles on NUMB feet and play with NUMB fingers on your drum or with cold lips on your COLD mouthpiece on your COLD horn, and UNDERSTAND that its not easy at all.
  
  Please believe that we endured alot and came out with a performance to be PROUD of for generations to come. now all u self-righteous oldheads and world famed haters DEAL WITH IT!

  99/09 this is not 09 GSU vs. 99 SU dummy . 09 GSU was there 09 SU caught up in hazing incident ? you be the judge about whose the best. GWSU was requested accepted/ SU trying to get lawyered up for court case. GSU 1 SU -100 (thats negative 100 for all U SU fans) but hey whose keeping score. roflmaox10
