learn to properly write the rhythms or fix them if you know what part Im talking about..
also maybe phrase it differently.. that mello part with the trumpets kind of leaves them both out there in a higher register.
also use of Baritones in chords is kind of a touchy topic to me. they make beautiful sounds but if you are having them play part of a chord the trombones are just up an octave be prepared to have an awkward sound. it takes away a lot of the chordal production to me and leaves the trombones in the back, listen to SU's use of baritone chords vs say PV's or JSU's and you'll notice what Im saying for the most part on songs. You'll start learning more the more you write stuff and you'll grow as an arranger to develop your own "style" so to speak so just use peoples pointers as a guideline not as a set way to arrange.
It's not too bad...the beginning where the melody comes in was a bit funky though...sounds like a Jamaican rhythm lol...but yeah, it was straight. How long have you been arranging?
