  what yall dont know is our band has the youngest group out there through our problems and everything else we still show up so thats not an excuse

  I see a lot of trumpets skating waiting for the high parts I go to walker that's the best battle since but this what we do y'all rookies at thisand yes we got a young band with alit of problem

  ok listen i seen the excuse of walker havin to battle aug and do da bachus... what yall dont know is we (shaw) played before the nomtac battled walker in da middle of the nomtac battled walker at the end of the nomtac played while southern was gettin off the bus for the bachuss and battled 4 or 5 bands after that with two of them combined on us then after that we was jus playin for the crowd and all this was before the bacchus then after the bachuss we played more jus for the director and nobody wanted to battle so im not knockin walkker because even though we sounded better that dont mean they suck they are very good i think we are the top 2 but that bein said endurance is not an excuse

  But i like shaw. They were cleaner. They came to new orleans wit a goal to battle walker. And dats wat they did. They sound gud. Theres not 1 horn holder in their band. I bet they are da school in da neighborhood.

  Walker play two songs per block, every block of the parade so they were tired dis battle.

  I like Shaw. They are a real good program. I think they beat Walker because they were underestimated for their size. Nonetheless, all credit goes to them for coming down here and handling their buiness. I know one thing tho, "elite" N.O. bands are def. not known for getting handled/treated like this from out of town bands and even tho it happened to Walker, it kind of put a black eye/embarassing mark on all of New Orleans (past and present). So Shaw better enjoy that win because I dont see them coming down here and doing something like this again against a "elite" N.O. program

  Shaw did good, walker did too. But shaw impressed me knowin that they are from another state. Not saying that shaw won or walker won. GREAT BATTLE BOTH SCHOOLS!!!!!!
